How to Make Chipotle Mayo

Chipotle mayo is a deliciously smoky, creamy, and spicy condiment that can elevate everything from sandwiches to tacos and roasted vegetables. The best part? It's incredibly easy to make at home with just a handful of ingredients. Here’s your step-by-step guide to making chipotle mayo from scratch.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (these are HOT - adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • salt to taste

Tools

  • small blender or food processor
  • measuring spoons

Instructions

Combine all the ingredients into the blender. If you're new to using chipotle peppers, use half the can at first. You can add more after if you need more spice.

Blend those ingredients up! Transfer to a bowl and put on EVERYTHING!
